We always offer a “buy-back” option, in case things don’t go as expected.
West Winds Ranch also provides “foster care” for any animal in an unfortunate state.

Blaze
Another new addition, an older Quarter horse gelding, in need of a home. We will keep him as long as necessary, but would love to find an adoptive home for him in the future. As an ex-gaming horse, he's got lots of go, a fun horse to trail ride. Never a need to ask twice when more speed is requested. This guy will get you there first!! LOL! |

Falicity
“Felicity” Appendix mare, 3 yrs old in 09. Very sweet temperament, easy going and a desire to please. Smooth gaited, would make a nice English hunter. Walk, trot canter, ring work, trails, road rides to the village and neighbors, etc… 15hh but should fill out quite a bit more and grow a couple more inches. Sire is 16.3h, local stud, “JoJo The Bear”.
Excellent barn manners, no vices, trailers, ties, farriers all with ease.

LadyBug
“LadyBug” an older mare (15yrs) I bought out of sympathy, but she turned out to be a sweet heart and the kids loved her, and her them!!! She has issues, she cribs and she doesn’t always tie. We just replace her top stall board every year and ground tie her. Works great. These were issues I personally was willing to overlook because of her fabulous way with the young riders. If we found the right buyer who neede a confidence builder for the young rider, I would consider selling her for what I paid.

Moxy is a new comer to the ranch this year. She is a Morab pony mare. She is spicy but responsive, a breath of fresh air for the more advanced rider. Will make a nice addition into the selection of horses that jump. |

Shortcake
“Shortcake” a veteran to the trails and camps. He is approx. 18 yrs old, but still looks great and loves to get out. 14.3 hh. Quatre horse, strawberry roan. Easy keeper, excellent barn manners, no vices, ties, trailers, farriers, etc.. like an old pro, which he is! LOL!
There isn’t really anything he has done, except drive.

Snickers & Felix
Snickers and Felix, mare & gelding, Snickers is a Canadian/thrbrd cross, she’ll be 3 this spring, is started under saddle and going well. Should finish 16h. Felix will be 2 in the spring, he will be started soon. He is Appendix & should also finish 16h. Both have excellent temperments, great solid manners and are easy learners. Very willing.

Has been ridden on trails and on road rides into the village, to pick up mail, go to the store, etc…Perfect barn manners, no vices, grooms, ties, leads, farriers, like an old grey mare. LOL ! Still growing, should finish 15.3h.
Walk, trot, canter, no poles or jumps, yet…. Crossed many spooks/obstacles though!!
