| Right to Play
Right to Play is an athlete-driven international humanitarian organization that uses sport and play as a tool for the development of children and youth in 23 countries including 13 United Nation’s designated Least Developed Countries.
West Winds Ranch will adapt the Right to Play Learning to Play, Playing to Learn Canadian School Program and four-time Olympic athlete Silken Lauman’s Child’s Play in its 2006 Summer Day Camp Program.
Clara Hughes, after winning her 2006 Turin Olympic gold medal in 5,000 meter speed skating, donated $10,000 of her personal savings to Right To Play. Her challenge goal is to raise $500,000. West Winds Ranch will donate to and actively promote Right to Play and Clara’s challenge.
