1880 homestead, with trails on picturesque
rolling landscape and open fields, patches of forest and a
variety of wild life, that offers you and your family a wonderful
outdoor recreational experience.
West Winds Ranch provides seasonal recreational activities to families, friends and groups; play and learn activities to students; and, fund raising opportunity for charitable organizations. Your West Winds Ranch Family Fun Day may begin at 10am. We’re open until 4pm. Our $6 admission is for all visitors 2 years of age and older. Spend time with us having fun, playing games and horsing around. Bring a picnic. There are fine eating places in the Village.
Go for a family swim + picnic at Sand Lake Lions Club beach, free facilities, on Hwy 36, Mountain Road. Enjoy Westport Village’s community event weekends. www.village.westport.on.ca
Take the delightful, delicious, daring, WWR Oh-Me! Oh-Me! – Bakery, Ice Cream, Fudge, Specialty Coffee/Tea, shoppes – Expedition. Park on Spring St. The 1K WWR Oh-Me! Oh-My! loop may start (or end) at the Church Street Bakery, 29 Church St. near Spring St. www.churchstreetbakery.com. Mosey along Church St. to the White Mountain/ Cottage Coffee lunch, ice cream, specialty coffees oasis www.cottagecoffee.com tucked in next to the LCBO. Continue on to Bedford St. Go down to the corner of Main St. where you will find Cedar Bridge’s ice cream, fresh home-made fudge and specialty coffees www.realrideauheritage.ca/rhr/listings/listing.asp?id=2361. West Winds Ranch Fitness Tax Credit Eligibility
The Government of Canada’s Fitness Tax Credit (FTC) will allow parents to claim a max. of $500/year for eligible fees paid for each child under 16 yrs of age.
Max. amount of eligible fitness tax credit program allowance is $500/ child.
The parent/taxpayer’s tax bracket will determine the actual amount of the tax credit.
