Panda Bear "Panda Bear” our new Border Collie pup. Champion bloodlines.
Ever since we got her, at 8 weeks old, she has been “herding” everything & everyone!
A hard workin’ dog!

bessy

“Bessy” the Jersey cow.
Hopefully expecting another calf late spring!!

chickens

The barnyard chickens & rooster. Farm fresh eggs! YUMMY!!

first lamb

First lamb of the year! Awww! What a cute ‘lil ewe!! Many more to come!!!

fiona

Silly Fiona!

muffin twins

Muffin had twin kids. What a handful! They weren’t long jumping on, over, through…anything they could manage. Good for a chuckle in the mornings!

moe and curley

The alpacas, Mo & Curly. Love Joe Loey the goat, a cute lil pair that like to mow the lawn of their own free accord. Are very home bound and never stray far, just to the neighbors to say “HI ! May I trim your lawn?”

peacock and hen

Peacock & Hen, cute kiss on Valentines day 09!

New Katahdin ewe & lamb, 2009.

gizmo

“Gizmo” The    star of all the critters. He loves bananas, apples and celery. Didyou know Ostriches can live to be 75-100 yrs old? Guess we’ll have Gizmo around for awhile!!!

george

“George” our mini donkey, been searchin for years for you George! Worth the wait, what a lil cutie!

Our first Jersey cow & calf, Bessy & Bart. Bart was born Easter 2007.

Sandhill cranes can be seen gathering in the lowlands in the spring.
Rare & beautiful birds.

Fiona & Easter lamb Sally.

An orphaned baby robyn we raised successfully & released when he could fly & feed himself. A little trickey as he imprinted on us!

O Mico, how cute you were. Another orphan successfully raised & later transitioned back into the wild. Mico was an adorable little raccoon who loved to follow us around & get into mischief! Very clever, learned how to open doors, windows, locks, snaps, you name it, he was on a mission to explore & discover!!

Whiskers, one of our many friendly cats.

Bella, last years lamb. Will lamb in spring of 2008 along with Fiona, around Easter, hopefully!

Bert & Ernie, our tom turkeys who love to gobble & fan out for visitors.
One of a dozen brown egg laying chickens. Eggs are sold farmgate.

Mortimer, a very noisy guard goose! He protects the ducks & chickens from predators.

goat family, clockwise from top left, Bill, Muffin, Donald & Honey.

Beloved Shirley, our donkey. She protects the small animals from predators. She’d rather be the center of attention in the barn, sneaking treats & pets from visitors. She feels very special at Christmas time, when she plays the role of ‘Mary’s’ donkey in the Westport Nativity Show.

The peahens, we have 3 plus one piebald cross peacock named Rainbow.
A variety of ducks which are interesting to watch & are supposed to eat there weight in flies daily. A very cute part of the petting zoo as fuzzy ducklings in the late spring.

Porkchop, one of our Vietnamese Potbellied pigs.

More pictures will come in the spring/summer as new animals are born and/or bought.
